I recently bought a '99 XJ that has some leather seats front and rear from I believe a '97 ZJ. The seats sit too damn high and forward. I need something lower, preferably lower than stock XJ seat or same height and something that will allow to sit farther back. Any suggestions on what I can pick up @ the JY for a direct replacement? Need some opinions on what some people have put in their XJ's and still either retain the stock headroom or gain some.

i assume agate is a color but im too dumb to know what color that is haha. I'll trade you some my stock charcoal gray seats and a lil cash depending on where you are. I'm in southern maine

Non-powered seats sit a little lower and further back than the powered variety. Those damn motors take up a lot of space under the seat track...

where are you located, i really dont think shipping 2 sets of seats is a good idea.

Im in southern maine near portland, work up in auburn maine, and frequent worcester ma for thirst quenching, if we can make something work that would be pretty sweet

I'd be up for trading too depending on your location of course. I have a perfect set of xj seats also. I'd give them a good shampoo from sitting in my loft for a bit but no rips, tears or burn holes in them. Grey in color also. Let us know a location and if not too far then sure ya him or I would be interested.
