I made a switch panel right behind my shifter on the console in that little change tray or whatever it is. Here is a pic.

Various things but mostly exterior lights. Can be used for lockers and so forth. Basically it's just a place to mount switches to turn things on.

I only have one hot wire running to it and linked it all together in a series. I ground them all on the shifter mounting bolt. The wires run all my lights on my jeep and one switch is not being used right now, but give it time!! The wires run underneath the console and under the dash.

Thanks for the pic I have been trying to figure out where I wanted to put my switches so they were in easy reach.
