Again I turn to the wealth of information the forum members have!

Occasionally my 2000 XJ Sport has been stalling out at idle. I will be driving then stopped at a red light and sometimes it does a little vibration then stalls. Though from what I remember it seems to happen when the engine is still cold or still warming up.

This only started occurring after I swapped the spark plugs. I don't think the two are related but its the only thing I had done.

We thought bad gas, so I got some moisture remover and dumped it in. But it still happened.

Any insight would be helpful.

check for corrosion in the distributor cap if its corroded just get a new cap and rotor and try that out. its only like 15 bucks

You can check the tps, You might of moved it while u were doing the tune up. Adjust it till if feels good to you.
I had a similar problem, even at warmed up it would stall out or hesitate.
Adjusted the tps and man it made a difference.

Sounds a lot like a crank position sensor. The symptoms are random stalling and trouble restarting. The part is only about 45 dollars, not hard to replace, just in a difficult spot(top of the bell housing). I had a similar problem and the CPS was the culprit.

I am experiencing the same thing. I just bought mine and swapped out the plugs and is now stalling just as yours is. I started a thread on NAXJA and they said to get rid of the E3 plugs I put in and go with champion coppers or ngk plugs I'm swapping out today and will post back with my results hopefully this is all it will take to fix the problem. Maybe its something more but worth a try!
