Hi I'm new to forum my name is josh I have a 98 XJ classic that I converted from 2wd to 4wd. I have a aw4 with np231 tcase. My problem that I'm having right now is when I go in 4low it doesn't like to shift out of 1st gear whether i do it manually or automatically. I can get it to shift when I let out of throttle but it shifts to 2nd (really hard) and so on. My only theory for it acting like this would be I have speed sensor code p0720 and p0700 which are both speed sensor codes I replaced all sensors the one on front of tranny the one on rear of tranny and the one on tcase and still have codes. Little back story on tranny I bought granny from a 94 Cherokee and found out I was missing the front sensor so took my 2wd tranny and 4wd tranny and had them combined(this was from a shop that specializes in aw4 trans) and all was well after about 1k miles I got the codes replaced all 3 sensors and got a used tcm(very unlikely to be bad but got anyway) and nothing then I removed harness and checked for any defects in wires and found nothing. Any one else had these codes or know how to fix the shifting problem
