XJ rear spoiler
There's an XJ air deflector/spoiler in the junkyard. Is it worth the time and money? I'm sure its not more than $10 but was curious as to what its purpose is.
Thanks

By re-directing airflow across the hatch, it helps fill in the void left behind the vehicle as it cuts through the air. Probably doesn't lower drag enough to measure an improvement in MPG though. But even 1/2 MPG would be worth the $10 price. Improved visibility and possibly better gas mileage-I'd go for it.

i dont think i would ever put the rear deflector on mine. but if you have no wiper then go a head it will keep the window clean but it will not give any mpg gain so i would not get it for that
