xj idling problems
 

hey yall
just bought a 2000 jeep cherokee with the rubicon 5 inch lift and 35s, im trying to get it fixed up to get it ready to drive cross country, just ran it throught for va inspection and failed for the right outer tie rod, looks like a simple fix, bought the part, anyone have write ups or installs on that?
i know it will need an alignment afterwards,

secondly is the horn is not working, whats the best way to go about that, it is in a dumb spot in the corner bumper where im short it has gotten wet from wheeling and maybe shorted out that way, dunno? whats the best way to start, i heard that is its not making the clicking sound then its more then just the horn, is there wiring diagrams for that?

and lastly ive been having idling problems with it, not sure what it is, it doesnt do it all the time but sometimes when at a stoplight or whatnot it just dies, but will start right up and go, not sure if it has to do with when its not warmed up yet or when its low on gas, but dont think those have much to do with it, any ideas or suggestions appreciated!

tie rod end is an easy fix, just unscrew the end and put a new one on. and you can align it yourself with a tape measure too, save you some $$$

maybe seafoam it. or maybe your throttle body sensor. when i replaced mine, it ran smoother. you might just need to clean it.

Count the threads on the tie rod that you see out ,or measure it if you have a straight edge rule. That way its atleast close, you don't just unscrew them and not measure or count.(half azzed info sometimes)This way you will be very close back to alingment.
