XJ on blazer frame

XJ on blazer frame
I know this is weird but my xj was pretty much rotten away to the point of no return. So I bought my buddys rolled K5 blazer stripped it and now have a cherokee mounted to the blazer. Has anyone ever done this that may have some insight with the process, pictures maybe?

Seems as if Kyle had some pics when I first got on CF. They were the nicest ones I had seen but they still were not looking particularly OEM if you know what I mean.

I dont really know how to add pictures on this. but I have it on the frame and have a full 87 K5 harness in place of the cherokee wiring. K5 steering column too. I turn the key and it will run.I have made cross members for it to bolt to the frame just have not installed yet. I also have the steering shaft extended just not put back in yet. I just need to make "pucks" if you will for the body mounts because of the gap between the body mounts and my crossmembers I've made. and figure out how to adapt the cherokee master cylinder to the chevy brake lines.

I know tyhey aren't the best pictures and I've actually came much further than these but it gives ya an idea of what I'm doing. I'll work on some updated ones soon.

let me get some updated ones. it looks horrible here I know. I have the radiator in the rear now and rear doors back on it. and the body is much more level now.

Yeah that would be interesting..What might be a neat project is an S10 blazer frame and might be a better fit...Hmm now that sounds like as much a fun project as this....I can't wait to see the progress cause man I bet this sucker is gonna be an offroad machine...After some fab work and tweaks it should turn out pretty solid..One thing I would strongly consider is a long arm suspension to help fill things out and make it ride nicely..
