Hi Dabear welcome to the forum from Fantic. So you have spark and fuel and it doesn't start? What exactly whas done to the fuel system? What engine?

Its the I6 242 cid motor, as for the fuel we put in a new tank and fuel pump assambily and flushed out the lines. A bit of history from the previous owner the vehicle was running rough about 10 years ago and when he took it to the dealer, they informed him thay would have to replace the exuast manifold before they could do anything else as it is cracked. owner just took it home and parked it. since we got the fuel system cleaned up and it is turning over the main problem is a weak spark. if it was an old ford I'd know what to change the control moduale.
Have read about crank and cam sensors and when called jeep to order parts he said I didn't have any as I have a distributor. So not sure, but then again the parts guy could be wrong.

The parts guy is wrong. If you have spark the CPS and cam sensor are working.
If the spark is weak the coil might be to replace.
The cracked manifold has nothing to do with the ignition/injection system.
Has the distributor been removed?
