wobble?
I changed the rear brake shoes yesterday and while I was at it I rotated the tires. I drove it around a little to make sure evrything was working right and had no problems. Today I took her out and when I get to 55 or 60 mph I get a wobble. I can feel it in the steering wheel and passengers can also feel it. I pulled over and double checked all the lugs to confirm they were snug. Could the tires that were on the rear been out of balance and I just didn't notice it until I moved them upfront? Or maybe they are just worn a little wierd? Any ideas or suggestions how to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

Was there any abnormal wear on the front tires? It is possible for one of the belts to break on a worn tire when they are moved to the rear and the direction of rotation changes. You may not feel it at slower speeds but it would definately be noticeable at 55 mph and up. Stop in to any tire dealer and have them do an inspection. They should do it for free.

Ive had the same problem almost every time i rotate my tires! get them rebalanced, normal wear changes the tires, and thus the balance. When i get my tires rebalanced i ask them to please make sure that they get them perfect since even 1/2 ounce off on the front causes vibration throughout the front end-Damaged belts are also possible but i would have them rebalanced while also having them checked for belt damage
