have an 89 xj and im looking to de-glut my electrical harness while keeping my ecu intact. the plan is to put all accessory controls on dash switches i.e. driving lights, hi/lows, off road lights etc. preety much offroad setting but i want it st leagal. what can be removed from the wirimg harness w/o effecting the ecu? please help. anything would be awsome.

So to clarify. Are you just talking about lighting controls?

i want to relocate my light switches, probably put them on toggles or something like that. i also want to remove my door ajar indicator/buzzer, my heater-a/c is busted and i don't really have a desire to fix it. the thing is that i am afraid that a couple of those things that are not important to me may be required to make the motor turn.
