Wiring Problem with the trunk lights?

Wiring Problem with the trunk lights?
For some reason the interior lights work fine but when i press the light for the trunk lights they come on very dim and the license plate lights and the brake lights come on. i dont know why that button turns everything on. i dont know how to fix this.. any suggestions?
