Default Wiper blade refil for '90?

It seems like these don't exist... I go to AutoZone and they first give me a refill that's too narrow. I take it back, they don't have anything else. So I buy a whole blade (RainX Weatherbeater) for $3 more. But even that doesn't work, because it uses the J-hook system, whereas these '90 and below Cherokees use that dang-ole push-thru pin system.

Does anyone know the part number for AutoZone's blade or refill that fits? Or know somewhere else? (Napa and O'Reilly are the other stores here).

Thanks!

most, if not all wiper's that you buy now are a "universal" fit style... meaning that they have both the push pin type and the "J" hook style in the same packaging ... on some of them you need to remove one thing and install the other but it comes with all the things that you need to do it with. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.

IDK the part #, but I use the Michelin's contour style from Wally World. They are cheap, and work very well...they fit XJs too. HTH!

That's one reason I don't deal with AutoBone. You can get 18" (That is the part #) Anco wiper blades (not just the refills) at WalMart for around $4.00 ea. They work perfect, I just put a set on my nephews 90XJ and my 91XJ.

I bought the cheapest ones that Advance Auto had and they work just fine. I think they were around $4-5 each.

I walked into AutoZone today, asking for a refund, and they pulled out a magical box-o-adapters. Found they right one and I was on my merry way.

I don't know why they wouldn't have done that in the first place, since they knew it was for a '90...

"Box of adapters" that is funny!

So you made 3 trips to AutoBone just to get wiper blades for your Jeep. This kind of stuff is why I never deal with them.

Yep it was pretty ridonculous. I use AutoZone only when there's no O'Reilly's around. Don't tend to go with Napa cause they don't generally have what I'm looking for.

Well, I guess I got what I needed.

For wiper blades I just go to the aisle and look at the little booklet that's there and find the part number my self. Makes it easier and you can pick what brand you want easier
