My windshield wipers since I got my XJ in february have never sat flat at the bottom. Like the passenger one is up 4 to 5 inches and the driver side an inch. How do I adjust them? I took the wiper arms off and painted them and when i put them back on.. same issue.

Take it off and when you put it back on put it in the place you want them if its like my 87 it has splines so you can move where it sits on them

 

Ill see what I can do about adjusting them, i had hopes there was something internal i could adjust...

Just did rear brakes, trust me I know about the weird jeep things now

 

It only takes a couple mins if you have a hanes manual it makes it very easy

 

The clown who owned my Jeep before me hard wired my wipers into the fuse block. Every once in a while I will leave them on intermittent and my buddies will ask me how my wipers work.

Lulz. It cracks me up every time and one day I'll fix it when it breaks.
