Have a 99 Cherokee XJ and my windshield wipers started to "shudder" in the first two modes but then works perfectly fine in the last mode (continuous fast). and today they won't work at all in the first two modes only the cont. fast mode. when i turn the washers on the washers work but the wipers don't move. i looked at motors but only see motors for up to years 1993 or 94. any suggestions?

 

Sounds like the wiper/washer multifunction switch. If it works fine in low and high then you know the motor is fine.
