they work fine but when they go to park they stop halfway in the windshield I took them and set them back to where they should stop but they still stop in the middle any idea of what to do?

Not sure if this will help but on a GM there is a curcuit board on the moror that controls the int. wipers. When they act as yours you just replace this board.

 

The unit u need to look for is a box under the steering Columb on the plastic trim piece its velcroed to it it is your wipers control box tap on it if they start working corectly its most likely that if it is then when u get one from a junk yard get a couple just incase the one u get does the same thing because its a known problem in cherokees its two plugs and the velcro

 

that the delay module the plugs that connect to it will plug together giving you reg wipers sounds like you motors not parking correctly
