Will I have clearance issues?

I intend on lifting the Jeep and I've been doing some research and trying to get my ducks-in-a-row.

I think for what I wanna do, I'm gonna go with a RC 4.5" X-Series Full Kit. I wanna try and run 33x10.5 on a 15x8 rim w/ 4.75" BS (Black Cragar Street Locks D Windows). I'm not looking to trim fenders either. I prefer the stock look. . .

I really dig the stance of the XJ below. I wanna keep the wheels tucked as much as possible without rubbing/trimming. Based on the info in the link below, this guy's running a 4.5" lift w/33x10.5's.

So, back to my original question. Will have any clearance issues with the lift/tire combo?? Or should I stay with the suggested 31x10.5?

Thanks in advance!!!

I would stick with the recommendation, but once you lift, if you go to a place like Discount Tire, they will have all size tire and most rims in stock. Go in and make friends before you need to buy.. telling the manager (make friends with the manager), that you might have fitment issues and want to try to go as big as possible. They will likely mount up some tires you want on the size rim you want and test turning clearance with you there. Dedicate some time to get this right. Be real "buddy-buddy".. offer beer.. tell 'em you need a friend to get this right and that you have little money but are willing to buy from whoever helps you out. You might go to more than one tire place to find the right place but someone will help you. THEY WANT YOUR BUSINESS!!

Good luck!

BTW~ SOMEONE ELSE CHIME IN HERE.........

Is this guy going to be okay w/ 33s on stock gears? Stopping power? etc,
My only thought is if he puts the truck through a lot of flex while turning he will rub when he would not typically on the road.

One more thing: 4.5 is the max I have been told is okay to not get a Slip Yoke Eliminator.. (careful careful.. dont wanna booger up your ride. LOL)

i run 33s on 3.55s (for now) its not to bad as long as you live in a flat area. im in iowa and there are alot of hills around where i live. ill be doing 65 down highway and it will kick down to 2nd. i hate that. DONT FORGET BUMP STOPS. im at 5.5 inches and would rub if i didnt have bump stops set right where i want them(1/8" clearence when fully flexed and im cut)

Thanks for the input!!! I don't intend (keyword being intend) to do anything to extreme on the trails. It's my daily driver so it'll definitely see more pavement than anything (sadly).

I plan on a gear-swap too, at some point. I'm prepared to do it if I need to . . .
