Default why only 1 inch max for tc drop??

I am about to lift my jeep this weekend. I got the rc 3" lift and thought after doing some reading that a tc drop kit might be a good idea. My question is the spacer tubes they sent me are actually an inch and a half and not 1 inch. I called quadratec and they said not only that it was the correct kit for my lift but the only kit for my jeep. Do they call it a 1 inch drop and its actually an inch and a half?? What happens if I put it in anyways. Dont want to find out the hard way that I made a big mistake.
Any input will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

much more than that and you risk tilting the motor too much and your clutch fan will hit the rad. that, and it will stress out the motor mounts and/or the valve cover will touch the firewall causing you to go nuts while the engine runs/shakes. may also stress out the exhaust too, not to mention linkages etc.
but the biggest risk is the fan against the rad.

I made my own t case drop with 1.5 key stock. And had no problems. I ran it for about 2 years till i did the sye. You should be fine but check your t case linkage after you do it to make sure nothing pops out of place. every cherokee is a little different. Hell run it without and then see if it needs it. No point in putting it in if you don tneed it. Good luck with your lift
