Who has put a wrangler Exhaust on a XJ??

Who has put a wrangler Exhaust on a XJ??

Here's the deal..today walking around my local JY..i came across a 89 Wrangler and imediatly noticed the Exhaust tip hanging on it to be BORLA..So i went in for a closer look and it had a nice T-304 Stainless Borla cat-back on it just hanging on the axle. So of course i took it with me. What is needed to make this work?? (on my 98 XJ) I put it under my jeep and can see some of the hangers are a little different and the muffler is shorter. I have some extra 2.25" pipe to make up for that. And since it is T-304 i dont own or know anyone who has a Mig welder to weld T-304 so i guess its gonna be a clamp on deal. Any tips from those who have done it? maybe some pics?

You can weld stainless to mild steel using steel MIG wire and CO2/Argon blend... normal stuff.

The weld will rust just like the rest of your plumbing, but it won't hurt the stainless at all.
