Where does this hose go??

I took the vacuum canister out to try and repair the hose that was snapped up line somewhere. The problem is I only have half of a broken house and cant find the other half. I looked on my dads renix jeep but its a different setup than my 94. I just need to figure out where the other half of the house is connected to or was connected too as I cant find it. Thanks a ton.

Thats half of a broken hose not house just thought that was funny.

Pictures would help, how long is the vacuum hose to where it's broken? The hose to the vacuum canister runs along the passenger side of the engine compartment past the fuse box, down by the headlight, then goes through and connects to the canister located behind the passenger side of the bumper.

thats the thing I dont have a picture of it as I cant find it. The thing I need to know is where it connects to from the vacuum canister then I can replace the line. The hose was already snapped when I removed the bottle and the vacuum canister side part of the house just fell out of the engine compartment. It snapped about two feet up hose from the canister.

shouldnt there be a diagram of the vacuum lines on a sticker either on the hood or upper radiator support?!?! maybe?

X2 that should help you find the other half of your broken "house"

I think I found it. The question I have though is should it shoot off into a T to go into the Cruise Control thing as well. Here is a pic.

In the corner is the cruise control. This hose goes up towards the firewall makes a 90 degree bend and ends in a connector. Thanks everyone.

There is a canister in your bumper(well in my 91). I belive it comes from there then to CC then to the other canister then to the intake

I am probably going to skip the cruise control for now so I can make a small T pipe or something to go to it later. However, I am pretty sure that is the right hose so I am going to just do it.

That hose goes to your main vacuum source. Do not use it in the cruise large hose. If you hit the brake it will loose all your vacuum. The vacuum for the cruise should come off that main line somewhere.
