Where can I find Factory Pin Stripe Decals for my 1995 Cherokee Country

I recently had a local mechanic repair some damage to the passenger side fender and bumper of my 1995 Jeep Country. Whereas the dealership mechanic and the “legitimate” shops all wanted well over three grand for this job (more then I paid for the entire truck), on the other hand, the local mechanic, who helps many of the “classis car guys” restore their vehicles, only wanted $250 for labor and $300 for parts-all of which were original salvaged parts.

Unfortunately, he can’t seem to locate the factory pin striping which has the word “Country” in the middle of it on the fender.

The dealership claims that it can find the stripping for me but wants close to $200 for it and that seems excessive.

I was wondering if any of you knew where I could find factory striping decals for a Black 1995 Cherokee Country (front passenger fender) for less then $200. I’ve done some searching but can’t seem to find any…:help:

Thank you in advance…

I just took off all the pin striping on my country. I think it looks better.

x2 I think the cherokee looks so much better with out the pin strips.

To answer the OP's original question.
Being a 95, going to MOST stealership will net you absolutely nothing.
But you claim they could "find" you some.

There are no aftermarket comapnies, that I know of, that handle that specific decal/pinstriping.

You have several options:
1. Keep an eye on eBay, Craigslist and other similar sites, you MAY get lucky.
2. Find someone to make you a new set (pricey)
3. Have someone stencil you up some new painted ones (can be pricey)
4. Run w/o them. Removing the decals/stripping from the other side.
5. Open up that wallet and pay that stealership's outrageous price for what you want

Thank you Howler, it turns out that the dealership that was trying to charge me over $200 was attempting to charge me for ALL the decals on the Cherokee.

I found another dealership that was willing to only charge me for the entire stripe for the passenger side ('only' $65) and decided to get the decals from them...

Shopping around does help -OR- Good to get a second quote.

Just another reason many members here call them "stealerships"

Glad to hear you got what you needed.
