Default Where to buy Window Reg?

I'm jaded. I am dealing with the window regulator issue with winter quickly approaching. I love my XJ with only 145k, but I am regretting not buying a Tacoma or even getting rid of my early 90's Pathfinder. I've already spent a **** ton on replacement parts and a lift because of busted suspension parts. With so many frequent problems, like the window regs. and drive line seals from front to back, why did they not recall? Maybe this is one of the many reasons Chrysler can't keep the doors open. I keep good care of my vehicles, and this one is only 9 years old. My Nissan was 19 years old and all the original electronics worked when I got rid of it. I think what really got me going on this was the fact that whenever I called the dealership for replacements, they would say "oh that's normal." Yea its normal for a car to fall apart around you in good condition.

Now that I'm done bashing, does anyone know where to get a cheap, revised window regulator for pass side front?

This is the best price I could find. Make sure you order the right one. Driver's, passenger's, right/left.

Junk Yard!! 1/4 of the price... so when it goes out again, and it will, you don't feel so hurt in the pocket. I replaced all 4 on the wife's 88' for the price of one new one.. Just my 2 cents.

first of NEVER buy parts for your jeep from the deal. they should be imprisoned for stealing your money. and second check this website out they sell a repair kit for the regulator. http://www.steigerperformance.com/

Amen to that.

Unfortunately it says it's only for 97-01. I've got a 92. That would be cool if it would work though.

The Problem

The front power windows in the 1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee are notorious for breaking in this manner.
