When turning theres a noise not sure what
Hey guys so every now and then when i turn theres like a scraping noise. It doesnt happen always only sometimes and i dont know what it could be. Sounds like a spring. I dont believe my tires are rubbing at all as there only 235/75/15. Any ideas on this ? Also its not that it makes that noise on full lock but even on a slight turn.

Going to need more info on your rig.
What's the set up on it? Lift, tires ect... Fill out your profile, it will help when you asks questions so you know.
Normally a spring doesn't make a scrape sound so that is very odd. My 1st few quesses is that your brake pads are very close to metal to metal and the pads are shifting slightly while turning. My 2nd guess would be wheel bearings are bad. 3rd guess would be the tire is hitting the plastic in the fender well area.
It's really hard to determine without more details. Check that list for now and let us know how you made out and if needed, more info please. Thanks and good luck.

could be the steering box depending on "the noise". Just one other possibility. More than likely it sounds like either brake pads or hub bearings. If it's the bearings, get Timken hub assemblies (online or through Autozone). They're some of teh best ones you can buy.

Matt, go to Wheelbearingwarehouse.com for your Timkens. I just ordered a set for mine. They were the cheapest I could find.
