Default Wheel Winch, where to get?

Wonder if this would really work... Are they available in US or just Down-Under?

this would not be a good idea for real wheeling where you don't have a straight pull at your jeep this would only work if you are driving straight and can keep going straight but if you need to pull side ways or a heavy object that would possible rip your studs off and cause mayham ans destruction

This idea has been around since WWII. As mentioned, there is no fairlead so only very straight pulls.

i think it would work for a simple stuck as in the video, but its not going to get you out of any real danger. Also what do you do when all 4 wheels are good and buried, or you pinned yourself against a rock with an open diff truck, wheel winch isn't going to help then

another good point if the wheel gets no power it does you no good. i like the idea but it is just not the way to do it

The thing is meant for the simple stuck and for Open Diff rigs.
If you have open diffs and put yourself in the position of getting pinned against a rock, or bury more than 1 wheel, YOU DESERVE TO BE STUCK...

cool concept but there is still no replacement for the old standby electric winch and a little common sense when wheeling
