Hey all!
So I live in Juneau, Alaska, and right now we're getting alot of rain and all the snows melting. The other day, i went out to my cherokee, and realized "hey, there's rust on the rims!" Does anybody have a solution for getting rust off the rims? Also, any suggestions for keeping rust off? I live in a rain forest, and i figured i should start to protect against it now, before its to late. (I'm also open to the idea of painting the rims, but I don't know much about that Thanks! P.S. Do you think i should be worried about the brakes rusting also? check around here for very detailed instructions. its a 2 to 3 hour project and its pretty easy. |
get alloys.

you will be fine a little rust is ok on rims! hell it adds character! Mine are scratched banged slightly bent and they are still going strong. i see no need in repainting something over and over and over again when your always wheeling or going through mud or snow or what ever. know what i mean. or just do what the guy said above me. Get Alloys.

are they chrome? polished aluminum? alloy? steel?
