Default Wheel painting?

What do you guys use? I have some minor surface rust. Im wondering what grit sand paper? do you primer? how many coats, and do you clear coat them? And do you use engine enamel because the wheels can get hot from the brake heat. any help is appreciated. also its these wheels.

yea sand, couple light primer coats (then lightly sand again if you want)then paint using several light coats of quality paint (i like satin rustoleum) i've never had the need to use high temp, and you can clearcoat, helps with chipping

I used the rim paint that Advance sells on my old soft 8's. Some minor sanding and 2 coats never had a problem.

When I did mine I did the following steps:

Wash them thoroughly
Sand them down with 80 grit
Wash them off
Dry them
Tape off parts
Apply 2 coats of rustoleum hammered paint.

The paint is a little more but it never chipped or faded.
