wheel fitment question

I have a 2001 jeep cherokee with stock 15 inch wheels im planning to buy wheels from a 2007 jeep commander there 17 inch . would these fit ?
also whats the best way to lift your jeep without breaking the bank ?

With the rims you should make sure the back spacing will work with your Jeep and I hate to say it but you never know... make sure it has the same lug pattern other than that when it comes to rim size as long as your going bigger than stock you shouldn't have a problem the tires you put on the rims make a massive difference though... about the lift the best smaller lift for the money I have found is on 4wd.com its a 2 inch spacer shackle kit made by trail master I think, it even comes with new bump stops but if you want to go with a bigger lift fat bobs has one that's fairly high quality for a good price

Yes they are different bolt patterns... The XJ's are 5x4.5, whereas the Commander is 5x5.. you can buy and adapter to be able to run them if you really want too...

I'm getting the wheels really cheap . So I think I will buy the spacers . Any ideas were I can get these ?
