Default Wheel alignment problems...camber is off?

being we have a solid axle in the xjs, how is it possible that my camber is off after my lift? my tires wore out on the outside. any ideas of what my problem is?

the problem is most likely your alignment. when you lift it, the tires will pull inwards, so your toe-in is your problem.

take it in for an alignment. you can do it yourself, if you know what you're doing.

The camber is not adjustable on the solid axle. The camber often is not perfectly zero degrees. Bigger tires and a lift magnify the degrees. Get a reading print out from an alignment. Off-set ball joints are available in .5 degree increments. I put a 1 degree balljoint on my left and a .5 degree balljoint on my right. My camber reading is now .2 degrees and .3 degrees.

^x2 Anytime you mess with the suspension get an alignment. Then you will know what is wrong, and know how to fix it, and not just be guessing.

You're toed in too much, the camber won't be effected after a lift on a solid axle, only the toe and caster angles.

+1 on alignment...also visually check make sure u don't have any bent steering components...when I bent my drag link wheeling if made the whole front setup look really f'd up!...after I fixed that and had it aligned the camber "looked" good...and was only oh so out of spec...I chalk it up to the lift and maybe worn c's...because my balljoints were fine!
