I'm runnin' 255/70/16 General Grabber AT2's with 4" lift 170k on the clock. Getting 18 average. Engine is stock with a clean air filter and a "Tornado" in the intake. I drop down to 15-16 mpg when I do a lot of "kid delivering" to school and back for activities. Pulled a 20.5 tank a while ago. At $3.10 a gallon here in Granholm Hell, I need all the milage I can get!

My Brown 84 with 2.8 GM V6, Slippin' 3 speed Auto 31x10.5 mud tires and 4 inch lift is gettin 8 to 10 MPG, my Black 87 with first year 4.0 with 291,xxx miles old a$$ AW4 Dana 44 stock everything gets 20 MPG around town and 22+ on Highway even better with a load, My White 96 with 249,xxx miles on its 4.0 AX15 and 3.07 gears gets low 20s on Highway, my Red 99 with 2 wheel driven AW4 transfered 4.0 power gets the best mileage with 18-20 around town maby 22+ on Highway, and Last but definately Least...My Beloved Silverstone Metalic 01 with 63,478 miles 4.0 AW4 NP231 and 3.55 ratio gets maby 13-14 around town and 17-18 Highway! I really wish my 01 got a little better MPG. The others I expect to get worse MPG, btu they do great! I mean 1st generation 1987 4.0 with 291,xxx miles getting the best mileage of them all??? Ol Blackie is running Lean, not because of vaccum leaks, but I think because of a faulty coolant temp sensor that is reading Full operating temp All the time. My Ol Brownie with the carburated 2.8 has some sort of fuel pressure problem, as I have swapped another Rochester carb from the junkyard on to her with the same flooding problems arising as before. Has Anyone heard of a mechanical fuel pump putting out to much pressure???

Default Gas mileage

I get 10 mpg, I drive a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Limited everything is stock except I have 10 ply tires on it, the reason my mileage is so low is I am a rural mail carrier.

1993 limited, 4.0 inline6 auto, pretty much stock, gets around 12-15 in town and 17-19 highway. 1998 2.5 vm turbo diesel sport with 5 speed ax15 transmission gets about 25 or 26 in town and about 35 highway.. I keep the 4.0 for fun.. use the diesel for daily running. At £6.00 a gallon here I need the extra milage!.
