whats the best way to trim fenders?

Default whats the best way to trim fenders?

i have a 96xj with a 6.5" lift and 35"bfgs. they rub at full turn on the back of the fenders. whats the cleanest method of trimming them?

x2 on the angle grinder, however, follow the radius, dont just cut straight up and across it looks terrible every single time someone does a fender like this /------\

round corners not square and you'll be happier.



done with an angle grinder, one pass. how you do the very front is all preference. I ended up not using these fenders because I went to a 97+ front end, so they are sitting as spares.

i deffinatly like the rounded look rather then the diagnal or square look. so id just follow the contour of the pannel?

I just did this.. Mark how much I wanted to cut. Then straight lined all my cuts .. on those top corners I did a straight cut to. Once done with the major cuts I just used a flapper disk to round out my corners. Rear fenders are really where all the fun is at
