What's an acceptable high idle speed?

What's an acceptable high idle speed?
so I manually adjusted the idle on my renix cherokee... probably need to replace the TPS and the IAC, but for now, this seemed to do the trick. It's idling around 900-1000rpm when not in gear, and around 500 when in gear.
Is this ok or is the idle too high?

I think mine idles at 750rpm in gear. During warm up she idles at 900-1000rpm. Warm idle in park I will have to check. So I hope its not too high, because if it is I'm in trouble too.
