i just read that a dakota alternator will bolt in and was wondering what years fit.

Wont work IIRC. The Renix systems used a different alternator type with a regulator built in. I dunno the exact difference, but I don't think they are interchangable. Only '91 and up.

we have a internal voltage regulator you cna up grade them but there is not really any jy upgrades
