what would you do?
I've been on the look out for new tires and wheels and i found the deal of a lifetime! pro comp m/t's and some cool looking no name black wheels, for 250 bucks! no rott 100% tread, no problems with dings nothing! well one problem.... bolt pattern isnt the same, well its the same but they dont line up, im asuming its for a wrongler. they are off by less then half an inch..
so whats my best course of action? i want the black wheels on my xj, (a size that fits) should i trade? should i sell? what would you do? need your input.....
thanks guys

That sounds like a great price for just the tires if they are new, I'd buy them have them broke down, find out what the rims would fit, sell 'em and get the rims you want. If you are patient you will problebly make out like a Bandit, jump on the tire's ASAP. What size are they?

I would find out exactly what the bolt pattern is and just buy wheel adapters. I put 5 on 5 inch rubicon wheels on my x j i've always been a little skeptical of wheel adapters until i put them on. I am an avid wheeler and never trusted the strength of wheel adapters . i have been in some sketchy situations and theyve held up great so far.

Wheel adapters or a safe and easy bet. spidertrax makes good adapters but they are about 100 dollars a pair . they are some different companies online you can buy them from. Make sure they come with the studs already pressed in and make sure they are ½ stud like your factory studs so you don't have to buy new lug nuts.

Anyways i agree with the idea of just selling the rims, and getting new ones with the $made from them.
