98 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 runs rough after tune up
I was planing a trip to do some ORVing and decided to do the tune up. I changed the plugs..twice..Bosh then to Champions new cap and rotor wires and air filter. Now it runs worse than it did before all this new stuff. Its a 98 XJ with the 4.0. Sometimes it seems to run better after it warms up then it sits for an hour. Start up is hell!! Runs rough and even seems to slip in and out of gear. Its an automatic!! I am stumped. I checked the gap the fire order so that isnt it. I changed the plugs to champions and they are gaped correctly. At my wits end I do not want to take this to a shop.
