What should I swap? 97 parts truck for my 96.

Hey guys,
Been away from the site for a long while, but finally making some time to work on my XJ in the coming months and could use so quick info from you.
I have a laundry list of things to do (wants and needs), parts to get, and questions. Think y'all could help me out?!
I have a 96 4 door sport with 2WD (before you dog me.. i bought it for 100 dollars running and ready so ha!). I bought a 4wd 97 that has some body damage, but all running gear and what not is there and in good order. What should I swap from the 97 to the 96? I know some of the obvious stuff, but am i missing anything? Should I add anything to the 97 stuff as I go or is stock form fine? For reference I live in Indiana and will be using this as a winter vehicle, mudding, rock crawling (I have a tendency to move to AZ frequently), and any other mayhem i can get into.
Current set up.. 2wd, 32s, 3" lift in front w/2" add a leaf in back, cut fenders
Here it goes..
*4-4.5" lift. - Bastard XJ pack and add pucks?
*Front and rear axles from the 97 - need anything here? thinking lockers? should i change gearing too or will 3.55 be okay. I will stay at 33s or smaller. Lockers that yall would recommend.. cheap but good?
*custom axle truss'
*V8 ZJ sway bar, steering arms, tie rods
*Durango steering box - what years?
*ZJ or WJ tranny cooler
*AW4 from 97
*transfer case and front drive shaft
*homemade transfer case drop spacers - 1"?
*4wd shift linkage and lever
*Manifold swap because mine has major leak
*Will the charcoal cannister on the 97 swap over? I need a new one.
*Anything else that i should swap over to make my rig better?
*Will need new shocks.. what kind do y'all recommend. cheap but good

Sorry so long.. at least I'm not listing all the other things that'll i'll be doing too while at it.

thanks in advance! feels good to be back.

Well if you're going that far do the entire drivetrain and the interior too. Lol.

1996 fuel system blows! No idea if the charcoal canister will swap. Almost everything changed.

nothing left in the drivetrain to swap except the motor and it has close to the same amount of miles so I'll wait til it needs to be swapped. May take the 97 motor and have it rebuilt and built up a little bit, but that'll be down the road.

Also, interior on the 97 is shot. It sat for two winters with the windows open outside here in Indiana.
