Default What shocks are people running with a 2-2.5" spacer lift??

Anyone have any solid recommendations for some good shocks for a '96 XJ classic with a spacer lift up front (looks about 2-2.5" lift or so), and a block out back (probably about the same amount at like 2" lift or so).

I've been looking for some shocks, but unsure what to go with. Most I see available for the XJ say they are either for stock height, or for a 3-5" lift or something along those lines.

Which direction should I go with my small basic lift?

Would I be alright running shocks for a stock height XJ, or would they be topping out all the time? Or if I ran those for a larger lift than I've got, would the body be too long and bottom out at all?

Please let me know what those of you with spacer lifts are running.
Looking for any good brands/models to look for and won't cost me over $400 for all 4.

This XJ is mostly a daily driver (although I live on a series of unmaintained dirt road), with a little bit of weekend warrior trails thrown in there, so it would have to have decent road manners.

Was looking at some Edelbrocks or Ranchos so far, but like mentioned, they are only offered in the two different sizes...

Thanks!

Shocks are a personal choice, and most are made by a handful of companies, not all shocks are made by the company selling them,I am going to be putting doetsch tech on mine, they also make shocks for others, monroe makes alot of shocks. Not to long ago I read where someone here put stock shocks on there xj and was pleased at how they performed all around. You need shocks for your height, when I buy mine I will be measuring the lift to make sure the lift is what it is suppose to be,not all lift kits are the height the say when installed. I would also stay away from nitrogen shocks, xjs do not have the weight for them to work good,my personal opinion only.
