What seats will bolt-in to a 96 XJ?
 

My Cherokee's seats kinda suck. I really like the 97+ style better. Do those, and any others, bolt direct in? And I'd kinda like to keep a matching backseat that actually folds down... is any of this at all possible or am I just plain SOL?

I've seen a member of this forum did a seat upgrade like that before...
Time to review the threads...

97-01 XJ: direct bolt in
93-97 ZJ: have to put your current mounts and rails on them.
98-04 WJ: same as the ZJ

I'm going to be putting in two after market seats, they have the recline feature and an adjustment for upper leg support and they are less than 300 each, bolt right to the xj seat frame as well.

THANKS. I'll check out my buddy's 01 XJ rear seat to see if it's a direct swap too.

what seats if you don't mind my asking? I'm also looking for some suitable seats to put in mine.
