Any year Cherokee should fit. Electric models may have some differences in wiring, but that's fixable.

The seats themselves will bolt directly to the 95+ seat frame but you still have to use the 95+ seat frame from an XJ. The electric seat functions are in the frame itself, the seats only have the switches. My jeep has a "power" seat on the manual frame, it just has the switches that aren't actually hooked to anything anymore.
You can't use the 95+ seat frame in your 90 Xj unless you add the floor bracket that they added. These brackets are EOL and can't be found anymore. There is one company that makes aftermarket ones but they're expensive.
You can see the floor bracket here: https://www.naxja.org/forum/showpost...26&postcount=9

As far as the seat mounting brackets for the 95 up seats that was mention. I bought a pair for mine from hawley performance. They run $50 each or 85 for the pair. Fit was good but did have to cut out and move/weld the mounting nuts up some.

many have swapped in ZJ seats. they have to go on your stock XJ sliders, but there are many seats that fit width ways. i know of someone on here who put tiberon seats on their stock sliders, and looked good in there. i think WJ seats will fit also. but again, you're stuck using your stock sliders.
at least the 90's didn't have that hump in the floor, so they are flat mounted, so you may have other slider options out there. i like the 80's XJ with the curved sliders to lean the seat back. those will fit right in your 90, i thought of doing it if i find a set some day.

Yep. A quick search found these but there were more links so you may find better prices.
