Default What is the red line?
my 1985 2.5L has that dumb guage cluster without the tach, has the huge fuel gauge unstead. i was wondering if someone knows what the red line on this motor is so i dont overwork it on the trails. The previous owner put in a small aftermarket tach and i havent had it past 4000 rpm but it sounds like i could go to 5000 or so???

dont try to push it hard passed 5000 but redline I think is 5500.

thanks, i have a heep with the 2.8 and it has a redline of 5500 so i didnt want to push the 2.5 past 4500, just wanted to make sure that 4500 wasnt too much... thanks for the help
