I posted this in another one of my threads threads but got no response so figure I would try again in its on topic as I know someone knows. Its in both frames just above the front seats. I want to remove for cleaning and painting but drivers side looks like its beyond
repair due to rust.
Well went ahead and chiseled them out. Found out not bolted looks like there is some type of hard foam inside the sections of the X shaped metal frame and on the top that was glued. I'm guessing some typed of sound deadner due to the foam? Not going to put them back in
