Default what is this part?

what is this part? it screws into the manifold and was connected to a vacuum tube.

it popped out when i was replacing my brake lines. its the black rubber piece on the right. what is it?

so does anyone know how that part works? it looks like the black tube was in the rubber grommet thing? what is the actual part that screws into the manifold called? do you have a link to rock auto or something where i can find it?

Glue the plastic tube into the rubber elbow and stick the rubber elbow on to the manifold fitting. done.

OP, are you idling high?

I went to AZ, they have a rack dedicated to vacuum connects, and Dorman 47432 is a package with different sized connectors. One of them worked.

Even a double wrap of black electrical tape works as long as the boot is not split. They tend to heat up and glue themselves together after a bit.

The circled red is the Dorman part I was talking about

But it also looks like you are missing the elbow above it with the check valve. They also sell those at auto shops, but you are going to have to piece it together. Though I don't know if you need the check valve.
