Front:
Rusty's adj trac bar, Skyjacker Coils, RE monotube shocks, Rough Country brake lines, JKS discos, Homebrew uppers, Teraflex long lowers
Rear:
RE 1.5" shackles, RE 4.5" leafs, RE monotube shocks (over a ford 8.8).

My lift has come from many small changes over the past 3 years. I have had everything from RE to Rustys, teraflex, pro-comp, and all that over the years. I like everything on it right now except the RE leafs. They are breaking/fanning/squating/fallng apart. In the future I would only buy leafs from BDS, Iron Rock, Deavers, or Superior. Everything else is made in india or china or something and seems to last about 2 years and fall apart. Just my $.02.

RE: Front coils, 1600 Track bar, brakelines, Quick Disco's, Boomerang shackles, monotube shocks
Rough Country: 4 adj control arms, Dropbrackets.
Rustys: Leafs

I originally bought the rustys 4.5" kit, but after things breaking and my need to upgrade, only the leafs are left, but hopefully not for long.

this is good to know mabee if enough people chim in Will know what the best lift is buy what works and what doesn't.Im suprised that the re spring packs only last 2 years.are american springs that much beter then chinese.rusty's scare the crap out of me,I've heard so many bad things about them,they seem to have good prices and the look like a company that could provide quilty stuff,but reviews prove other wise

rustys 4.5 coils full leaf pack(got the lift used for $175), adj. trackbar, skyjacker steering stabalizer, ect.......magnaflow dual exhaust, K n N air intake, CB, rhino lined inside, dimond plate thresholds, doorless mod. and other stuff i cant think of......

Front: 5.5" RE coil springs 2" Daystar Pucks Rough country adjustable uppers Teraflex Long arm conversion lowers
Rear: 6.5" RE Leaf Springs 2" RE Boomerang Shackles
9550 Teraflex Shocks all the way around

This set up works great...performs amazing offroad...but be ready to do a whole bumch of other modifications when you get this big

Front Skyjacker 6"coils, Tereflex high steer, homegrown long arms and S10 bastard pack.

The Skyjacker coils seem a little stiff to me so I am going to go with Rubicon Express coils But I must say that it corners well for that amount of lift. The Bastard Pack works well and flexes, but I am going to do a little fine tuning on it in the future. When I do, I will post. The high steer I am very happy with, it does what it is supposed to do. I have not bent the tie rod yet, but it is above the axle tube now. I am happy with my hardware, but will be going from a front "Y" link to a three link like the Rock Krawler set up when I change axles.

Suspension front - Old Man Emu 2" coils, coil spring spacer, Old Man Emu long travel shocks, Rubicon Express super flex adjustable control arms extended bump stops, YJ braided brake lines. Kevin's Off Road double shear track bar, Currie heavy duty stock replacement steering, Old Man Emu stabilizer, RigidCo steering box bracing.
Suspension rear - Old Man Emu 2" medium duty leafs, TeraFlex shackles, Old Man Emu long travel shocks, YJ braided brake line.

My rig is my daily driver/weekend warrior. I was looking for an excellent ride on and off road, flex, load carrying ability and longevity.
The OME springs have been on the rig since 2000, approx 100,000 miles later my first set of 2" lift OME shocks needed replaced. It was at that time that I boosted her a half inch, put long travel shocks, and the stock steering, trac bar and arms were replaced. OME is not the cheapest product on the market but the excellent ride and longevity make the price difference worth it to me.

This small lift has fully met my expectations, and suprises the heck out of many folks out on the trails... I'm often asked, "how'd you get back here?" Funny.

Mike H, thanks for the info. Im looking to build mine with the same type of results. I come from the fullsize chevy scene, my last one was a k5 on 44's with rockwells.
Im interested in doing something small on 33's with just a little lift.

Something capable, easy to work on and most of all RELIABLE.

3" Pro comp lift via 2" springs/1" spacer and AAL (came w/truck). I like keeping the COG as low as possible and getting most of my lift via tires. I'm on 31" now, and will move to 34" maybe next year. I'm only going to lift as little as possible to squeeze those 34s in there, and stay at a 10.5" tire. I like keeping the rig as functional as possible. Once you start lifting w/the big boys, you get alot of problems. My rig is decently capable, and drives nice and has good power on the hills.

MoneypitK5, listen to Mike H. He gave me some really good advice on building my rig. I got a lot of bang for the buck. Very happy. :thumbsup:

I went that rough cause of not knowing where I plan to be. Next step is 1"BB pucks, 1 1/2" shackle lift, Rough Country Double Shear track bar and Rusty's fixed lower CA's.
