what kind of lift?
Hey guys. I am wanting a 6''- 7'' lift kit for my 96 cherokee. Whats a good brand that is not too pricey? Also ive heard that add a leaf will be a terrible idea if I am going to be doing even a little bit of off roading?

If you plan to offroad it then it is going to be pricey once you go over 3 inches. There is a buttload of catch-22's with lifting a XJ

No such thing as a Cheap 6"-7" lift. Its Ok, but you will NEED the SYE and drive shaft and the control arm drop = $800 more, at least, if you stay with the RC kit. For that much lift you either have to go Long Arms or use a control arm drop kit, in order to get a decent ride or any flex. Also MUST get SYE and drive shaft due the the driveline vibes that come with lifting a Jeep.

so your saying that no matter what, if i wanna get the 6.5'' lift, i have to buy all of that stuff and add it to the price of the lift?
