When I actually looked at standard stock bulbs from various manufactures I found most are 65/35w. Even the super duper Valhalla bulbs only go up to 65/55w. I am going to try the 100/55w and see how it goes. 100/90w are pretty cheap if I wan't to try later.

Definitely worth it. Running trucklites on my '99 now, and I'll never drive an xj again without em.

Visibility is unbelievable, the light beam has a smooth cutoff up top so you can adjust em to not blind the car in front of you. The lights are tough, and they sure look cool as hell.

I can second this. I got the European model, but I'm sure the American version is just as good, I'd try them if I got a new car. For me, any new to me vehicle I get, if trucklites will fit, they will be the first mod.

I have the Truck-Lite "E-Code" version on my '96. They're amazing. Super bright with a great cutoff that never annoys other drivers. Very little power draw.

Bingo! Honestly, after the harness upgrade, my old Wagners were 50% brighter. I just upgraded to a better sealed beam and it was a huge improvement. Probably all anyone would need unless you have 100w requirements.
