What happened to my MPGs after new fuel injectors??
Ok so about a week ago I changed my fuel injectors to the upgraded 703 bosch ones, I did reset the ECU after this to. Everything went fine and after driving it like 40 miles I filled up and checked my mpgs and I was getting 20 mpg all city driving from 14 mpg.
So after another 68 miles I just went to fill up and check it and im getting 12 MPG!! I don't know what happened? I even used the same pump and same gas station to fill it.
I also checked to see if I could see any fuel leaking from where the injectors are but all clean.
Really would appreciate all help. This is very confusing and frustrating.]
I also drove conservatively on both MPG checks.

Year: My Jeep is a GMC
Fill the tank, drive to almost empty, fill it up and calculate miles per gallon: miles driven/gallons consumed = mpg.
Do this 6 times then average your results: mpg1+mpg2....mpg6/6= avg mpg.

You need to supply more info yourself for one did you get the right injectors for your year of engine, you supplied no info on it.
Yes Turbo_XJ is correct that is the proper way to check your MPG. You did reset you computer didn't you after installing the new injectors?
