Default What color WHITE is a 1989 XJ??

I tried finding my paintcode and couldn't find it in a door jamb, so under the hood I found it on a tag... looks like PWB and QWB, but I after hours of searching, PWB and WB don't seem to be valid paint codes??

It's white, and I can't imagine there's more than one or two factory whites used for 1989 XJs. What white is it? Bright White? Stone White? Pearl White?

Thanks.

if it is an 89 you need to take into account paint fade.... I would buy the small cans ($2-$3) and use a small test area to see what matches closest

Are you sure it is not HWB? because that is Pearl White, and from what I found, it is the only color white offered in 89

It wasn't HWB, but this is off the stamped plate on the firewall, not off the sticker. My door sticker was so faded that nothing on it was visible, so I'm not sure?

email chrysler customer service your complete vin and your info (so they can verify you are the owner) and they will email you back a complete build sheet including paint and trim codes. got them in a couple of days on both my jeeps...I knew about my XJ as i got the window sticker when I bought it but my YJ i bought at an auction..i thought that was pretty cool of chrysler to do that for free...and I do believe there was at least two whites back then possibly three and i think anything that starts with a P is a non clear coat and anything with a Q is a clear coat (two stage). i know there was a white that was not clear coated but not sure what year it was

email jeep through their customer service website asking for a build sheet. It will tell you everything which was original to your jeep. you will need your vin number and takes a few days for a response.
