Default What axle shafts fit my D30?

I have a stock 95 XJ with a d30 front axle w/ 4.10 gears no ABS.

I am looking for new front axle shafts.

It looks like there are a lot of different kinds: quick disconnect, ABS, NON-ABS, etc...

Could someone please tell me which ones will fit my jeep. Were they the same from 84-01 except for being ABS or non ABS? Is mine "quick disconnect? I thought the D30 was used from 84-01 on all cherokees

If someone who knows about this could please respond, i would appreciate it, it seems a little confusing.

thanks

Dana 30 high pinion - reverse cut - 27 spline, 1.16" diameter shafts, 7.13" ring gear - used 84-99 (some axles through 91 are vacuum disconnect, 92+ are non-disconnect, 89-95 with ABS have 5-297x u-joints, all 95+ have 5-297x u-joints, all others have 5-260x u-joints)

Dana 30 low pinion - standard cut - 27 spline, 1.16" diameter shafts, 7.13" ring gear, 5-297x u-joints - used 00-01

Default Axle swap

Hey, since we are talking about the axles. Maybe could somebody answer me this. I have a 00 XJ with the Low Pinion. I want to swap it out for the high pinion. Is this something I can do without doing anything else. I haven't upgraded ring and pinion yet because I wanted the high pinion instead of the low pinion D30. I was going to put alloy axel shafts with 4:56 gears in front and in the 8.25 in the back.

any axle non disconnect will work. but finding one with 297 joints would be better. the joints are bigger and very easy to come by. so any 95-99 axle should work great. i don't know if the LP/HP shafts interchange which is why i say 95-99... but i think they do.

depends on the condition and gear ratio of the axle you find. if the gears are the same ratio as you have now, and the axle is in good/safe condition then it bolts right in no problem. if you plan to regear then the ratio wont be a problem. they must match if you want to use 4wd... the only different between your LP and the HP is the pinion/gears, all the rest is the same. there are tons of threads about this so double check my advice
