Am I missing relays?
What is that connector for?
And this one?
How about this one? (the one with 8 holes)
Thanks.
I'm swapping out the lower panel, i found a non cracked one in a really nice orangish tan from a wagoneer limited.

That thing with the velcro is the intermittent wiper delay box, the relays that are missing is for something you don't have, I believe one of those plugs is a diagnostic port but no quite certain. Does anything not work?

These rigs are wired for everything from the factory, so if you have a sport without rear wiper, rear defrost, fog lights etc..., this vehicle is already wired for it. That's what those extra plugs are for. Coach

Yeah, I know a few things are for cherokee's with other options, but I was hoping someone might have diagrams etc. Some of the electronics seem to have been tampered with by the previous owner. My headlight switch smokes, and my dash lights don't work.
My speedo is also nonfunctional. I wanted to take care of anything I may be missing because I already had to add a relay and a few blown/missing fuses.
Also, I may want to try and use the fusebox for other things, so that's also why I want to know what it's for.

You will find this with most vehicles. Manufacturers install the same harnesses in every vehicle but leave out the particulars according to what options the vehicle is built with. Its much cheaper and easier to produce and install one wiring harness than hundreds of different combinations and configurations. I have never seen a vehicle that didn't have some empty plugs and fuse slots somewhere. I will agree with freegdr, leave it alone if it aint messed up.

There is no real need to pull the dash for either problem. I've changed headlight switch and the instrument cluster from the front. no re-wiring necessary. just sayin.

Well, I only pulled the lower dash panel because I'm replacing it. I decided to make my own headlight switches using relays and toggle switches. I'm not entirely sure the instrument cluster is bad, because the speedo changes when I hit a bump. Its always either at 0 or 70 depending if I hit a bump or not. I plan on taking care of that soon with a transmission swap. I was curious however to these connections however because the PO did some BS wiring with the radio and it was missing the horn relay as well as some fuses.

Also my rear windshield water pump doesn't work. I haven't looked into that however. The wiper works fine.
