you cut a massive hole in your cowl so you could seal the fresh air vent? Why not take the top cover off and go down though the top where there's already a hole?

Yep, it's a good ways over there. There are other posts where they did a similar cut under that "dummy" vent in the cowl. I have that same issue. Have a list of "spring break" repairs I'm gonna do. What Fun!

I saw a thread where the guy couldn't get to his simply by popping open the cowl. He ended up tearing his dash out right down to the HVAC box, and resealing the plastic intake completely. I was considering this because I have a slight passenger leak too and I'm not so sure where it is and have already had my windshield resealed...and my heater core needs replaced at some point as well :\ i hope it holds out till I can get it done before next winter

left front wheel up on two bricks remove cowl grill trun water hose own real real low and put water hose in the cowl on left side water will run to the right side around fresh air vent thats how i found my leak also you can look from left to right with flash light and see that water is running all around vent good luck
