Weird tps problems possibly more
Ran to the parts store and checked the check engine code and it was my tps changed that and still after high revs the engine turns off also feels like it's lost a lot of power when driving around any suggestions oh and also the check engine light is still on and all of this happened after a day of lots of mud so don't know of its just dirty used some wd40 and such but still doing it

Post the "exact" code here. Devil is in the detail with OBD codes.
Remember that the code includes the entire circuit. So along with the sensor, you have wiring and connectors. For the TPS, I generally recommend that you unplug it, thoroughly spray it with electrical contact cleaner (not WD-40), add a dab of dielectric grease to the connector and reconnect. Also, where did you purchase your TPS? Not unusual for the 4.0 to have issues with some (not all) aftermarket throttle position sensors. Because of that, I purchase OEM MOPAR engine management sensors. |
