weak start,,help
Need some help plz ,,whn startin my jeep in the mornin it either cranks alot or
i got to try twice or 3 times to get it started,,,..and after tht most of the day it starts normally,,if i leave it for a couple of hours or so or to the next mornin it does the same,,it would also work if i turn the key on without startin a few times.,,,,any ideas wht might cause this????thnx

Ive had this problem and as far as my research shows, it is likely the check valve in the fuel pump. Another common problem. If you turn on the key and wait several seconds, the fuel pump will build pressure back up to the injectors. Ive seen several posts about this issue and im planning on trying the inline metal check valve next to the fuel tank on the outflow line. This should resolve much of this problem. Good luck!!

check your starter connections might sound funny but my montero did the same thing and i about went nuts but it was that simple

checked all the wiring,,,everythin is ok,,,checked codes,,nothin...
cleaned injectors,,,al try changin the fuel pump,..only thin left to do i guess,,,thnx everybody.,,should i change the core or the whole thing???

id say fuel pump. next time you leave it sitting for a while turn the key to just before you start the jeep, and let the fuel pump prime up a little bit, then try starting it.
